TDI is used in synthesizing polyurethane alongside MDI and polyol. It is used in a wide range of products including PU foams, synthetic leather, construction materials, and paint adhesives.
The TDI business is part of Hanwha Solutions Chemical Division's long-term plan to secure global competitiveness in the polyurethane industry by expanding the scope of business and developing high-value-added products.

- 1983 Construction of Yeocheon plant to produce TDI is completed
