Hanwha Chemical R&D Center
Since its founding in 1979, the R&D center has used leading-edge technology on a global scale to develop Daeduk technopolic’s chemical technology.

The center has optimal conditions such as a fast local area network and state-of-the-art facilities and equipment in a modern building. It is preparing for the future in an era of unlimited international competition with a mission of responsibility to the future of society with affluent technology.

  1. Leading R&D Center

    The central research center is currently conducting research and developing a variety of new products including the optimization of polymeric materials for value-added products, future generation catalysts and other items.

    Hanwha R&D has also developed systematic packaging for the petrochemical process, energy-saving electrodes, water-soluble polymers and fluorescence materials, all excellent products for the global marketplace.

    The institution has earned praise as a model company, carrying out environmental conservation activities using nature-friendly technologies such as insoluble waste water treatment, advanced food waste treatment, and other energy-saving technology with proven excellence. These achievements helped the institution successfully acquire ISO-14001 certification.



Furthermore, the central research center has invested in R&D to expand its business area to technology-centered industries such as re-compounded proteins, life-extension technology, new genetic applications, and more new areas in biotechnology, ready to lead the 21st century IT industry. In the future the institution will become a global center of chemical technology by means of technological independence and deep respect for life and dignity.
