Asia's largest ethylene producer was established through voluntary agreement between the Hanwha and Daelim Groups to integrate their naphtha cracking centers in a 50:50 joint partnership. Both partners have been leaders in Korean naphtha cracking since 1979. Their operational merger prevented redundant investment and achieved greater efficiency while combining their technology, experience and systems to create a synergy effect and boost international competitiveness.
